This time here and today I’d like to talk to you about how I wake up for sure as a resident in paediatrics!
So let’s dive into the story.
Long have been the shifts and the cries of children loud and in the middle of all of this Max had other things to do, such as studying, spending some quality time with his lovely wife, enjoying some time alone and the list goes on. Needless to say, the toll on his body and mind was heavy and with time, the danger of not being able to wake up on time was becoming increasingly undeniable.
So on a beautiful Saturday morning, the idea that binded all previous trials and errors into a solid plan, was finally completely formed.
First, he kept using the same four alarms on his smart phone, spaced 10 minutes apart with the final one going off at the desire time.
Secondly he thought another sense to it, and picked up an old fitbit watch,he had forgotten about and then he set the same four alarms on the watch.
Thirdly, why not add another sense? Light!! He thought to use the smart lamp of the bedroom, that he had installed previously, in order to save him and his wife from blue light.
Then Max set the light to turn on the desired time, but in red, so he doesn’t wake up his wife.
In addition, he set an alarm at the desired time on the google speaker he has in the bedroom.
In the end, he had sound coming from two places. Vibration on his wrist and light from the ceiling. Needless to say, that from then on, waking up on time was never an issue.
